The Balmoral – a 1949 passenger vessel now moored in Bristol’s iconic harbour – was the people’s liner; it connected different parts of the country, and it took people on a unique and communal journey all over the coastlines of the UK. But for several years, she hasn’t been able to do that. As historic ships vanish from British waters, this film, made by the husband-and-wife duo Falling Films, documents the fight of a group of passionate volunteers to save the Balmoral.

After starting out life as a show at the Edinburgh Fringe, then taking the West End and Broadway by storm, Six the Musical comes to the big screen. The hit musical reimagines the six wives of Henry VIII as musical divas, introducing themselves through biographical songs. The lead singer of their band will be the one who had the worst experience at the hands of their shared ex-husband. Filmed at London’s Vaudeville Theatre, it features the six original cast members.
