Discover the World of Houseplants at RHS Garden Rosemoor, 24-25 January.
Learn how to select the right houseplant for the right place, get expert care advice and pots of inspiration from live talks and demonstrations at a dedicated Houseplant event on 24 -25 January in the Garden Room at RHS Garden Rosemoor.
Whether you are already a house plant fanatic or just want to be able to grow herbs on your windowsill, look no further than this event for practical advice and great ideas.
The talk schedule includes subjects such as making your home plant safe for pets, growing advice for ferns, cacti and succulents and orchid care (see dates and times online). Alternatively, you could watch a live demonstration on how to build your own terrarium or join a drop-in spider plant workshop.
Browse and buy from a wide range of plants, pots and care accessories at the pop-up houseplant market which includes the Devon Orchid Society, Alisha Hart, Emms Plants, Dark Orchid, Curious Cacti, the Exotic Fern Society, Winkleigh Cacti and Thyme & Space. Exhibitors Barrow and Clark will demonstrate how you can ‘dress’ your home with plants whilst North Devon Hospice are providing a chill-out zone for visitors.
The RHS Plant Advisory team will also be on site all weekend to talk through any plant problems you might have – please note however that visitors are not permitted to bring their own plants onsite but are welcome to come with questions and photographs to show the experts.
So head down to RHS Rosemoor to get houseplant selection and care tips, advice and inspiration – you won’t kill a house plant again!
