Hartland Book Festival – 14th June.

Hartland Book Festival

SATURDAY 14 June 2025 10am – 3pm

Hartland Parish Hall, The Square, Hartland, EX39 6BL

Excitement is building for the Hartland Book Festival!

Mark your diaries – the Hartland Book Festival promises to be a relaxed and inspiring celebration of books, creativity, and community. Hosted by The Resurgence Trust – an environmental and educational charity based at The Resurgence Centre in Hartland, North Devon – this friendly, free-entry event is a wonderful opportunity for authors and readers to connect, chat, and enjoy some homemade cake.

Taking place on Saturday 14 June from 10am to 3pm at Hartland Parish Hall, the festival will feature twenty local authors across a variety of genres – from romance and thrillers to science fiction – so there’s truly something for every kind of bookworm.

With events for all ages spread across three vibrant venues, you can expect writing and art workshops, poetry performances, and a guided nature walk. Families are especially welcome to enjoy a free children’s trail, delightful poetry displays by local schoolchildren, and plenty of cake to go around.
