Follow the family garden trail and spot the ingredients for a witch’s potion to cast your own magic spell. Learn about beautiful but toxic flowers, insect-munching carnivorous plants, freaky fungi called dead man’s fingers and plants used for spells and potions.
Free, self-guided tour – suitable for all the family.

Have a go at a different craft every day, including making magic wands, Halloween lanterns, spider headbands, monsters and monster stress squeezers.?

Witch Hazel Halloween Storytime, Wednesday 30th October.
Witch Hazel has arrived, and she can’t wait to explore the magic of the gardens, but beautiful roses and sweet-smelling shrubs don’t impress her at all! Where are the man-eating fly traps and weeds that smell of rotten egg? Join her for a spine-chilling interactive storytelling session.

RHS Rosemoor also run popular ‘Welly Walks’ every month specifically to enable preschool-age children to explore and enjoy the wonderful garden. Each session has a different theme and includes a garden walk, craft or planting activity and a story.
Suitable for children aged 5 years and under, accompanied by an adult over the age of 18, the walks go ahead in all weather.
Booking is essential, tickets are £3 per child and includes a children’s drink and all materials. Normal garden admission charges apply to enter the garden for accompanying adults (members go free). Welly Walks are scheduled to take place on the following dates:??
