Space Hop Summer Reading Challenge at Bideford Library

Bideford Library will be launching  ”Space Hop” with a coffee morning for the adults and a fun and activities morning for the children.

The sessions will include

Singing nursery rhymes

Learning new songs

Listening to music and clapping to beat

The hourly sessions will be held weekly and will run in line with school terms

3.50 per child (child and adult or 4.50 if more than one child.

Special Charity Open Day at Northam’s Yeoldon House Hotel
Yeoldon House Hotel in Northam welcomes you to a special Charity Open Day on
Saturday 10th July.

It offers you a unique opportunity to wander the extensive gardens of this
lovely Edwardian house. Enjoy glorious views of the River Torridge as you
walk down through the gently sloping gardens with their mixed borders of
colourful herbaceous plants and shrubs. Delicious cream teas will be
available.

Proceeds will go to FSID, the UK’s leading baby charity working to prevent
sudden deaths and promote infant health.

Entrance is £2 and the gardens will be open from 10am to 3pm. Because of the
gradients and steps wheelchair access is not advised.
