There will be lots of free family activities running on Northam Burrows throughout the school holidays, with some great experience days thrown in for good measure.
On Thursday 20th February Dave Edgecombe, of North Devon AONB’s Coastal Heritage project, will be leading a WWII history walk, setting off from the visitor centre at 2pm.
There will also be a self-guided trail – “Lines in the Landscape” – which invites participants to explore Northam Burrows from a totally new perspective. Discover hidden lines in the landscape as you seek the dynamic poetry trail which has been devised and installed by the Ranger team at the Park. Find your connection with the wild beauty of the natural environment, read inspirational work by poets both famous and local, and add your own thoughts and dreams to the creative compositions.
