Aikido every Thursday

We are starting a brand new aikido club in Bucks Cross Village Hall.   We have 2 hour lessons every Thursday evening starting at 7pm  and I’d be very grateful if you could give us a mention.   The club is suitable for women and men of all ages (over 18) and we absolutely welcome beginners.   I’m the instructor (2nd dan with the British Ki AikidoAssociation).   As well as being a powerful martial art, Ki Aikido teaches calmness andrelaxation in daily life.   Find  out more at (click ‘Club Info’ at the top):?   Huw Collingbourne

Spoonbills seen
I write to say that on Sunday 28th  February at 7.45am a spoonbill flew in on the mudflats (East side)  and stayed feeding at high water mark;it then took off and went down the  river. The spoonbills are under threat from marsh damage and pesticides. I have only seen two in seven years on the river.
